We all have those feelings sometimes, at least I do, which means you're not alone. Except for the cancer scare, which I am truly sorry you had to go though, and I am glad everything turned out just fine. Scales and food and men and intimacy are common fears for young women, and I too share them. Most everything you wrote about, I can relate to on an intensely deep level. Except for the Plan A thing, since I'm not sure if I ever really had a Plan A. I change my mind about my life goals on a very frequent basis. And by life goals, I mean career choice. But enough about me. If you'd ever like to co-ruminate and catch up, know I would like that as well. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07025833025029385678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075027136792134173.post-86733575153296698652009-11-26T13:51:45.239-08:002009-11-26T13:51:45.239-08:00"Do you remember

The ambiguity and certainty make every thing you say relateable, because we don't know what you're trying to say. We hope that what you are saying is a profound examination of the readers life, and that somehow you got it just right. So right that you must be the same person, and that is so very comforting.

I just wish that I could still hope with them. I think I can read the lines between the lines-between the lines.

Like knowing a magic trick, it ruins it.

I do know the fear is universal, but someday we will know how to patch all the holes. As soon as we count them all, I will rewatch Yellow Submarine in my dreams to count until I know how many holes...

The Japanesse like Wabisabi, or the beauty in the flaws. I tend to agree with them. The airbrush is as fake as the lipstick and the mens shirts in the grand scheme.

When you are recycled it will just use up more energy, until it is dispursed over the entirety of the planet and then the universe, and it all goes to a null. Stay as long as you can, because sooner or later you will be the dust, that no one can recycle.

I always wanted to climb my first tree in a dress, and when I get to the top build a nest and teach birds to fly.

"I can give you my hand, but I cannot save you from innevitablity."Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540649804875488584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075027136792134173.post-17938172311512095022009-06-16T20:23:41.408-07:002009-06-16T20:23:41.408-07:00It is always the people, that my limited perceptio...It is always the people, that my limited perception tells me, are undeserving of a relationship that have them. I find strange comfort in the fact that when all is said and done we will pretty much have experienced everything possible, and that in some reality everyone has it as bad as me.

I guess it is something that you are able to make some good choices, but really will you ever know what is good until after it has come and past?
That is why I do understand relationships. Because I didn't see the point, and I didn't actively persue one. I regret it now, and can only tell you that it is nothing more then opportunity and risk.

While there is something great about living a life of no consequence, it is also somewhat empty. I think friends are good for only part of that void. I also think that they will leave you with weak ties, which may be where a relationship is different. Socially it's more of an investment then friendship.

Friendship is the lease, relationship is the morgage.

When ever I run I only run out of breath. I always know where I end up because of that, and its never good. You have much wisdom in this piece, it is extremely well crafted, and belays deeper meaning.

Oh and one more thing, if you die in a car crash, can I make your hair into a wig and keep it? Just asking... no reason...

I could go on and on forever, your writting does that to me. Somewhat of a muse, you are. Also really like the new picture. The dress is so nice and it doesn't look like a person looking for an spectacular crash.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540649804875488584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075027136792134173.post-89441322682287071352009-06-11T17:48:52.363-07:002009-06-11T17:48:52.363-07:00My favourite blog comment ever was yours thanking ...My favourite blog comment ever was yours thanking me for mine.

Thank you. The greeks say ...Do you know how hope came to be?

The greeks say that Epimethus, who had the gift of after-sight, that is to know the history of what has happened with great insight, Angered Zeus by aiding his brother prometheus in giving fire to humans.

Zeus punished Epimethus, and Epi was like "fuck you Zeus, I found a nice human girl and I am going to live with her in the village of humans, fucking be a prick here on the moutain."

I may be paraphrasing...

Anyways, he went to live with said chick and one day he had to leave her there and go do some shit. Well turns out Zeus waited for this and send the lady a box, with no hard feelings for Epi. He told her that by no means shall Epi open the box ever. Of course this was Pandora and the dumb bitch let curiocity get the best of her.

Box opens, all the worst things in humanity poured out, and she managed to close the box just in time to keep one thing in. She hid in the closet until Epi returned stunned at the carnage that has befell humanity.

Epi calmed her down, learned of the box and started deducing.

Well he figured, it would be best to let the final thing out and well that last thing was hope. People still argue to this day on why Zeus would put hope in the box with all the evils of the world?

Perhaps he had pitty for the Humans, or guilt for what he was going to do to them? Or perhaps hope is a bad thing, makes us wait for things to get better when they may not. It is an arguement for philosophers and the ages.

I will say that Prometheus flew with the flame to man kind. His punishment was for an eagle to eat his liver every day for the rest of eternity, only to have it grow back to be food for the bird again. Epimetheus stood on the ground while darkness decended. Perhaps we are but flightless birds.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540649804875488584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075027136792134173.post-48793703993906608732009-05-29T13:05:35.141-07:002009-05-29T13:05:35.141-07:00You know when my mother got me a kitten for christ...You know when my mother got me a kitten for christmas, a new smokers worth of years ago, she got him because he was the last kitten. Unwanted because he was a runt with oversized ears.

He ended up being the best of them all, and maybe it was because he was unwanted, that when he found someone who wanted him, he found true love.

He sleeps with me every night and wakes me up to let me know he is still there.

Once huddled against a corner in a box, now huddled against my ribs which only barely resemble cardboard. Sometimes you have to bet on the runt. I think when you show them unconditional love, you will gain the greatest friend ever, and someone you look foward to waking you up in the middle of the night by agressively readjusting themselves against you.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540649804875488584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075027136792134173.post-27800979835775845752009-05-27T20:58:13.492-07:002009-05-27T20:58:13.492-07:00I have been there, all of there.
